1. Overview

ARJ Publishing adheres to international standards for scholarly publishing ethics, including principles established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). We expect all stakeholders—authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers—to maintain honesty, accountability, and respect for intellectual property throughout the publication lifecycle.

2. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Submit only original work that has not been published elsewhere, unless clearly disclosed.
  • Ensure accurate representation of data, methods, and results without fabrication or falsification.
  • Properly acknowledge all contributors and declare funding sources and conflicts of interest.
  • Obtain necessary permissions for copyrighted material, including figures and extended quotations.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely peer review reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscript content and review materials.
  • Declare conflicts of interest and decline assignments when impartial review is not possible.
  • Alert the editorial office to suspected ethical concerns, including plagiarism or duplicate submission.

4. Responsibilities of Editors

  • Make fair and unbiased editorial decisions based on scholarly merit.
  • Protect the confidentiality of authors and reviewers during the review process.
  • Investigate allegations of misconduct in accordance with COPE guidelines.
  • Ensure transparent handling of appeals, corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern.

5. Misconduct & Corrections

ARJ Publishing investigates reported cases of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, and other breaches of ethics. Confirmed misconduct may result in rejection, retraction, or notification of affiliated institutions. Corrections, errata, and retractions are published when errors materially affect the scientific record.
