Follow these guidelines when preparing and submitting your manuscript to American Research Journal of Emergency and Intensive Critical Care .

ARJ Publishing welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications across all disciplines covered by our journals. Authors should read these guidelines carefully before preparing a submission to ensure compliance with editorial, formatting, and ethical standards.

Manuscript Preparation

Language

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English
  • American or British English may be used consistently throughout
  • Professional language editing is recommended for non-native speakers
  • Proofreading services are available upon request

File Format

  • Submit as Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX with PDF preview
  • Figures and tables as separate high-resolution files when required
  • Maximum combined file size: 50 MB per submission
  • Do not submit password-protected or read-only files

Word limits exclude abstract, references, tables, and figure legends unless otherwise stated by the target journal.

Title Page

  • Full manuscript title (concise and descriptive)
  • Full names and affiliations of all authors
  • Corresponding author name, email, and ORCID
  • Running title (max. 50 characters)
  • Acknowledgments and funding statements

Abstract & Keywords

Abstract

  • Structured abstract: 250 words maximum
  • Sections: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion
  • Avoid abbreviations in the abstract

Keywords

  • 4–6 keywords listed alphabetically
  • Keywords should reflect main topics of the manuscript

References

  • Follow APA or Vancouver style as specified by the journal
  • Cite references in numerical order in the text
  • Include DOIs where available

Publication Charges

Upon acceptance, an Article Processing Charge (APC) may apply for open access publication. APC waivers are available for authors from eligible countries or in cases of demonstrated financial need.
